Join some friends of Y'all Weekly - and Emcee Sam Spencer - for a night of community, connection, and friendly competition at Free Range Brewing on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 6:30 PM ET.
Carolina Forward Foundation and The Freedom Center for Social Justice are teaming up to host an evening of trivia, prizes, and purpose, to support their shared work of building a more just and equitable North Carolina.
If you don’t know about the Freedom Center, they work to create culture shifts in social justice, civil rights, LGBTQ+ communities and spaces where people of low wealth and racial minorities live. They work in collaboration, across lines of difference, with local and national organizations that fight for equal protection under the law - work that will continue to be important as the Supreme Court considers reversing the landmark decisions that led to LGBTQ+ equality in North Carolina and across the country.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and include your first drink (cash bar after). All proceeds directly support the ongoing advocacy, education, and community-building work of both organizations, helping us grow a North Carolina that works for everyone.
The trivia host and emcee will be none other than Y’all Weekly publisher Sam Spencer, so bring your team, grab a drink, and get ready to play for some great prizes:
