We’re Live at the Arts & Science Council’s Midnight Marathon
The program is two parts and runs until midnight tonight at the Carolina Theatre in Uptown Charlotte. You can still get tickets at the door.
The second annual Arts & Science Council Midnight Marathon, a one-night-only performance fundraiser celebrating the region’s vibrant creative community, is taking place right now, Friday, April 17, in the newly renovated Carolina Theatre at Belk Place. Tickets are still available at the door and online:
The immersive seven-hour showcase features 30 local performing acts, offering audiences a near nonstop lineup of dynamic and wide-ranging art forms. Midnight Marathon 2026 features performers such as Rumbao Latin Dance, Planet Improv, Charlotte-based rapper Myrts Son, musicians including Tom Billotto and Walter Boston, readings from local poets, such as Hannah Hasan and Shane Manier, and more.
Y’all Weekly is here covering the films and performances, and you can find our updates on Instagram and our social media.
“More than just a fundraiser, Midnight Marathon is a celebration of Charlotte’s thriving cultural ecosystem, showcasing the talent that makes our city a regional arts powerhouse,” said ASC president Adam Santalla-Pierce in a statement.
Proceeds from ASC’s Midnight Marathon fundraiser will support the organization’s mission to empower creatives and strengthen communities, with a particular emphasis on expanding opportunities for both artists and residents.
