Issue #5: Thanksgiving Double Issue
This Thanksgiving issue is focused on food, including drive-thrus, favorite restaurants, and a film called The Menu.
Happy Sunday, Y’all!
It’s the time of the year when all of the weekdays seem to have names: Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday … Y’all Weekly Wednesday, perhaps? Since it’s also Thanksgiving time, this issue is focused on food: drive-thrus, favorite restaurants, and a film called The Menu.
Our team has been hard at work at the articles in this issue, including two film reviews from Matt, two food pieces from Sarah & the Y’all Weekly team, and a policy piece from yours truly about the fight over a Chick-fil-A drive-thru.
We’ve also got an art review from Jesse, which I hope you’ll read since this is the last week you can see the Fall Residency exhibits by Desiree Thomas, Joy Davis, and Jamila Brown at Goodyear Arts.
This is a long-ish issue, so curl up with your leftovers and take a look!

Free Stuff
The Fall Residency Exhibits at Goodyear Arts are free to visit, though donations are strongly encouraged.
Our team won second place (and $15) at trivia at Gilde yesterday, so why not join the fun this Thursday?
Did you know it’s free to use Charlotte’s pink robots to make deliveries? I didn’t until last week.
Final Thoughts
I’m thankful for so much in life, chief among them my wife Rebekah, my dog Willow, my family and in-laws, my amazing friends, and all of the opportunities I’ve been lucky and privileged to have.
I hope your Holiday season is full of love and wonder.
